Chloe plops herself down comfortably onto the couch upon entering Marc’s villa.
“Wow… So this is what its like being a Hollywood star!”, the 24-year-old model whispers to herself, looking around in awe.
“So I see you’ve made yourself at home ‘aye?”, Marc grins cheekily, his greyish-blue eyes gleaming at her as he makes his way down the big spiral staircase.
“Why of course! This is what poor hospitality leads to…Didn’t you know?” She pretends to gasp but ends up giggling at him, feeling slightly giddy at having one of Hollywood’s hottest stars showering his sole attention at her.
“Why I’m terribly sorry to have had kept you waiting madamoiselle… It is but my pleasure to have such a beautiful woman right before my eyes.”, he says, as he reaches out to take her hand, doing a little bow and kissing her hand.
They laugh.
“Any chips or drinks for you sir?”, the butler asks.
“Nachos for you Chloe?”
“Yeap I’m starving!”
“Just nachos please Jeff, thanks!”
Marc turns on his latest flatscreen plasma television and pops the dvd in while Jeff, the butler, brings in the nachos, bows slightly and turns to take his leave.
The dvd suddenly stops spinning and white noise appears on the screen.
Marc, a little perturbed by whats going on, leans closer to Chloe and starts fiddling with the remote control.
Chloe frowns, disturbed at the white noise.
“Oh darn, I don’t think this dvd is working. Shall we catch what’s on telly instead?”
“Oh alright…” Chloe replies, a wee-bit disappointed from the night’s turn of events.
Why do I suspect this evening isn’t over? I think Chloe isn’t going to give up her big score that easily (what a stretch we’re expected to believe that guy is a huge Hollywood star!).
